Me…a 1930s wife?

Hah!

You Would Make an Okay 1930’s Wife

You have some of the attributes of an ideal 1930’s wife… but you probably didn’t intend it to be that way.

You don’t buy into retro gender roles, though you do embrace your femininity at times.

A 1930’s man may find you passable, but you probably wouldn’t want anything to do with him.

You got that right. Maybe it’s because I work in a industry dominated by the more masculine sex, I treat them my equal and not expect advantages or disadvantages for being a woman. Or maybe it’s perhaps that I am not married…yet.

On that note, I did find my wedding dress. And if you’re one of those dreamy eyed wannabe brides, look away now, for the most horrible has happened!

Mr H was there when I picked it out.

I will tell you that story next time! ;)

I was tagged by witsandnuts and my tagging victims tonight are Gail, Odette and for a little fun, the wonderful Mr Flighty (j/k ;) unless you are curious)

You can take the quiz here.

turns out I’d be an OK 1930s wife as well. unfortunately, i don’t have the faintest idea what a 1930s wife would be like. hehe. why pick that decade though?

You know, I don’t have a clue why 1930s or what a 1930s wife did! Hrm. Was it the peak of the perfect housewife era?

Thanks for playing. My results seem inaccurate, heeeheee. I’m not in a male dominated industry but I am practically interacting with majority of males because of my profession. I’m opinionated and sort of intimidating (as far as I know). That’s why I’m so very surprised with my results.

I’m looking forward to your story about the wedding dress. :)

    It’s just a quiz anyway ^_^ I wasn’t exactly sure what a 1930s woman was too!

Lol doesn’t matter. Everyone’s different. And it’s just a quiz. It keeps me guessing though what a 1930s wife is. I think I’ll research it. hrm.

maybe if i use slang and profane languages i’d be a modern wife. but then again, being 1930s can’t be bad. :)
