Study Silence
I must apologise for my phase of silence and the lack of comments or postings during the past few days. I recently realised that some of my university assignments are due pretty soon, so I thought I better take a few days off from my crafting / illustrating / gardening to tackle some fundamental questions. Like How does the Universe work? As well as a range of mathematical questions for a maths module that will hopefully help me achieve a certificate, if not a Mathematics degree (I haven’t decided yet).
On another note, I’m reading through Emma by Jane Austen as part of the Jane Austen Book Club’s reading list. I’m enjoying it so far, but not as much as I enjoyed Persuasion. I’m not even sure who she is suppoused to end up with yet. How’s everyone else finding it?
And on a small gardening note, purple carrots are the bestest thing ever! I’m definitely going to grow them again next year. Bolognaise, roasted, boiled, or just as a lovely quirky decoration.

It’s always a challenge to balance school with leisure time. Lately my brain is so fried after work that I haven’t been able to get into a good book lol Good luck with your assignments!

Good luck with homework! As for Emma – well, I’ve always preferred Jane Eyre better, aside from the standard Pride and Prejudice. :) You can’t really go wrong with Edward Rochester. Emma’s more of a comedy, designed to be confusing, although Emma does wind up with someone introduced early on in the book.

I have read Emma and rather enjoyed it. I won’t spoil the ending though..
Purple carrots sound wonderful, I have always wanted to grow them, where did you obtain the seeds?
I have recently “found” your blog and noticed you have similiar interests to me, maths though, sounds like you are cleverer than me, I was never good at maths! x
