New Year’s Resolutions

New Year’s Resolutions are a funny thing. I’ve made them so many times before, but have had a problem keeping them. This year, I’ll deal with them as if they were objectives in my normal job. So I need to keep my goals SMART! Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and with Timescales.

  1. Lose 4 kg by June and keep it off!
  2. Play squash at least once a week. That should help resolution #1 and help improve my game.
  3. Face one thing I fear this year. Baby steps! This year it’s most likely skydiving 0_0
  4. Read at least 30 books this year. I failed last year’s 21 book challenge which I started in August, so 30 books in a year might be more attainable.
  5. Create at least one new illustration a month. It’s not hard for me to create new illustrations. It’s making me actually find time to brew a nice pot of tea, sit down and get drawing, that’s the problem.

So Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all have a great start to 2009 ^_^ So what’s your resolutions?

Oh and as of midnight of New Years eve, I am now 25. Scary! I need to reflect on that soon. And on that note, Mr H wishes you all a Happy New Year too!

I never make New Years resolutions, I am terrible at keeping them!

You do not appear to need tob lose weight, maybe I should take up a sport to tone up after baby, I’m not too worried though, might help now Christmas is over!
